More than 60 young government professionals, Carleton students and others turned out to Hooley’s Pub to hear a panel of recent Carleton graduates discuss how they put the public policy that they studied into daily practice.
BJ ’95 Carleton grad – Alan Neal – host of CBC’s All In A Day – moderated this special version of Politics@The Pub jointly organized by the Carleton Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement and the Canadian International Council.
The panelists included Bradley Vis, assistant to the Minister of International Trade; Heather Finn, legislative assistant to the NDP Defence critic; Joe Blomely, policy analyst with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives; and Laura Payton, senior online politics writer for CBC News.
