Gabrielle Bardall is the Vice President for External Relations of the Parliamentary Centre where she leads the EngageParlDiplo program. She has served as advisor and educator to parliamentarians and electoral commissions in over 60 countries worldwide for nearly two decades. Her legislative background includes experience as a Congressional staffer and a fellow with the U.S. Congressional Research Service. Globally, she has provided expert advice to the Carter Center, the Council of Europe, DRI, the Folke Bernadotte Academy, IFES, International IDEA, the InterParliamentary Union, IRI, NDI, UN Women, UN-DPKO, UNDP, USIP and Westminster Foundation for Democracy. She holds degrees from McGill University (BA), Sciences-Po Paris (MA) and l’Université de Montreal (PhD). She received the American Political Science Association’s Congressional Fellowship and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Doctoral Scholarship for her work in comparative democratization.
