Maureen Boyd is Chair of the Parliamentary Centre.  She founded the Carleton Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement in 2011 and will continue to provide volunteer advice and leadership to EngageParlDiplo. A senior fellow at Carleton’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) and a fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute (CGAI), Boyd brings her experience and extensive contacts on Parliament Hill as a parliamentary intern, senior political staffer and national television reporter, at Rideau Hall with three Governors General, in Ottawa’s diplomatic community and through diplomatic life in New York, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Washington. She is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal.
