Jody Nelson is the nursing liaison librarian at the John L. Haar Library at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta.
As an academic librarian, Jody works collaboratively to facilitate faculty teaching and scholarship as well as to integrate student information literacy learning within the programs she supports. Jody was first drawn to academic librarianship as an M.A. student and research assistant in the Department of English Language and Literature at Carleton University, where she discovered a love for finding information and connecting ideas as part of the development of meaningful scholarly conversations.
