March 15: withdrawal deadline

The withdrawal (i.e. drop) deadline for courses is Wednesday, March 15. After that date, you will not be able to withdraw from this term’s classes.

  • You can contact us (from your Carleton email account) and we will be able to drop a course at your request until March 15 @ 4:30 pm.
  • We recommend speaking with an advisor – come by the office (1516 DT) or book an advising appointment here.
  • You can login to Carleton Central to drop classes online on March 15 yourself. Most ESP Registration holds expire on March 15th which will allow you to drop a course on the 15th. Click here for instructions.

Withdrawing has consequences for qualifying for a degree and may impact future OSAP eligibility. The awards office can answer OSAP related questions (awards@carleton.ca or 613-520-3600).

We recommend emailing us or coming to an advising appointment for advice before you make the decision about whether to withdraw: esp.advising@carleton.ca.
