This workshop updates the state of play in CETA ratification and refinement in light of the election results of October 19. Bringing together academic specialists with stakeholders, the workshop will address major themes covered in the CETA – investments, environment, pharmaceuticals, agricultural and food regulations etc. It will assess implications of these provisions from stakeholders’ perspectives and consider the potential pace of ratification and implementation in light of the Canadian election, new government arrangements and ongoing negotiations by the EU with the US in TTIP.

A detailed agenda for the event will follow closer to the date.
