The Dalhousie EU Centre for Excellence in conjunction with the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology are hosting an all-day conference on immigration politics on Friday, September 18th. Panelists will explore contemporary immigration debates in Europe and Canada including: the political economy of migration; the politics of borders and migration management; shifting immigration regimes; migrants’ rights, and the differential placement of persons in volatile migratory contexts. The conference will take place at University Hall, Macdonald Building.
