C. Jane Clause completed her BA in Criminology & Socio-legal Studies at the University of Toronto, and her MA in Communication & Media Studies at Carleton University. Motivated by her life and work within Southern Ontario’s farming communities, she completed her thesis on information-sharing practices within the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP), and hopes to support local efforts towards freer access to information for migrant workers. Jane is currently interested in SAWP’s intersections with the COVID-19 pandemic and, in the future, may explore Indigenous farming practices and their relationship to the construction of the settler-Canadian “family farm”
