Description:
Whatever your future career path, you can benefit from developing your interview skills. Providing a good interview can play a decisive role in getting the job you want, so it’s important to take the time to learn what you can expect from an interview and how to prepare.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify types of interview questions including informational, behavioural and situational questions
- Discuss strategies to prepare for a job interview
- Identify the benefits of using a Situation-Action-Result (SAR) response for specific interview questions
- Compare and contrast different interview formats (face-to-face, video, group interview)
- Identify proper interview etiquette to create a good impression with an employer
