Martina Gordon

Having completed her HBSc in Biochemistry with a minor in the Social Sciences of Health at the University of Ottawa, Martina is now pursuing an MSc in Health: Science, Technology and Policy. While working with Girl Up clubs, a United Nations Foundation initiative, she has developed a special interest in gender-based violence prevention and trauma-informed practices. Using geographic information systems (GIS) mapping, her research will inform and support community-developed programming for trauma- and violence-informed physical activity.
