Identify, Foster and Share Talent is Carleton’s framework for institutional development across every part of the University to build internal capacity to meet present and future needs. The framework is a collaborative effort to bring together various departments, programs, and structures that can support faculty and staff in achieving their development goals and career objectives.
Our Purpose is:
- Improve development and collaboration to meet university’s strategic goals and tackle wicked problems
- Increase staff and faculty awareness of their own potential and opportunities
- Provide leaders with structure to support others’ development and pathways to ‘Opening Doors’
- Highlight agency, creativity, and collective ownership of our campus community’s future
- Ensure everyone sees their role in moving initiatives forward to meet the objectives in our Strategic Integrated Plan
