Network Reconfiguration using Cognitive Radio Approaches
The increasing amount of devices connected to the Internet leads towards the road of the Internet of Things (IoT). Everything, and everyone will be connected everywhere in the future. However, this places the room for great challenges in the system design. In other words, IoT demands enormous amounts of heterogeneous devices to be interconnected, which leads to the spectrum scarcity problem. Each IoT device should be able to communicate reliably and efficiently. Keeping pace with this demand will require new technologies that can offer acceptable intercommunication. To address it, there has been a growing interest in so-called network reconfiguration on the cognitive radio level.
