The Internet of Things Lab is thrilled to extend our warmest congratulations to Abdullah Mahmoud on his successful Master’s thesis defense. His thesis, titled “Optimal Selection of IPsec-Based Security Mechanisms in Resource Constrained IoT Environment”, presents an innovative approach to selecting the optimal security mechanism for resource-constrained IoT devices based on their available resources and the application requirements.

Through his thesis, Abdullah was able to demonstrate his expertise in both hardware and simulation environments. This work is a great contribution to the field of IoT security and we are proud to have Abdullah as an alumni of our lab.
