Biography
Ismael is currently a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant in the Sensor Systems and the Internet of Things lab at Carleton University. He received his MSc degree in computer engineering from the American University of Sharjah, in UAE, and BSc in computer engineering from Mutah University, Jordan. He is a Computer Engineer and Cisco instructor trainer with more than 10 years of academic and industrial experience in the fields of computer networks and communication, software development and simulation, Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, and practical training. His Research Interests include IoT resource management, wireless sensor networks, virtualization, resource-aware routing, automation, software-defined networks, Intent-based networks, and Cloud Computing.
