Eclipse Project Portfolio Management (PPM) is the system used by the Project Management Office as the authoritative source of project information on the university’s information technology initiatives. To date, Eclipse PPM has been a tool for project managers, resource managers and other key roles within Information Technology Services (CCS). Our partners involved with information technology projects in departments across campus have seen this information in team meetings and status updates but, to date, haven’t had direct access.
In response to the need for greater transparency of project information, the PMO is extending on-demand access to a host of information within Eclipse PPM to key roles in departments. This information includes view access to:
- Project Tombstone Information
- Key Project Documents
- Health Indicators
- Monthly Status Updates
- Project Schedule
- Budget
- Risk and Issues
