What is this service?
This service provides Faculty and Staff with a new or replacement desktop computer or laptop, as required.
How do I obtain this service?
Faculty and Staff are provided with a desktop computer or laptop by their department at the time of on-boarding, and should contact their departmental administer or Faculty IT Support for details, as well as for their departmental policies on the frequency of refreshing their computing hardware.
ITS maintains a list of preferred vendor, desktops and laptops:
…but each department and faculty has their own budget and guidelines with respect to which computers they fund, and the frequency with which they update faculty and staff computers.
