Hadi is currently a PhD student working on selecting an aptamer for GABA. Together with collaborators, he plans to incorporate the aptamer into a smart fertilizer that will help optimize nutrient uptake and reduce fertilizer waste in corn crops. Hadi completed his BSc in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics at Carleton in 2021, where in that time he tested new methods for the synthesis of Copper/Iron Oxide janus nanoparticles.
