Dr. Velu is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Chemistry at Carleton University with Prof. Maria DeRosa’s group. His research interests include the development of nanoaptasensor and lateral flow assays for food safety. He received a B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Madras University (a PhD working with Prof. Ramamurthy). He was a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Sungjee’s group in POSTECH, Pohang, South Korea.
