Sathya Srinivasan is currently a Postdoctoral fellow in Chemistry Dept. at Carleton University under the guidance of Prof. Maria DeRosa. She is working for the detection of Boar-taint and Alpha-synuclein for theragnostic, using aptamer based lateral flow assays. Her Ph.D work were specialized in the area of design and synthesis of an aptamer and nanomaterial-based fluorimetric, colorimetric and lateral flow assay approaches for the detection of multi-targets such as Salmonella typhimurium, ATP, toxic metal ions (Thallium and lead). She worked as a visiting student researcher from 2016-2019 in the Chemistry department at Carleton University.
