Dr. Charles Gyan has built a remarkable career as an academic in the field of social work. He has over 7 years of experience as a faculty member at Universities in Canada. He currently works as an Associate Professor at the McGill School of Social Work. Dr. Gyan has dedicated his career to investigating the complex issues surrounding social policy, transnational social work practice, environmental justice and refugee and immigrants’ wellbeing. As a scholar, he has conducted extensive research on poverty and inequality, migration, and the ways in which social work can help address these pressing societal challenges.
