Ulrike Krause (she/her) is Professor of Political Science with a Focus on Constitution and Politics of Gender Relations at the Institute for Political Science, University of Münster, Germany. Her research and teaching focus on the areas of gender, forced migration, conflict, and humanitarianism. She engages intensively with gendered humanitarian refugee protection, displaced people’s agency and self-organization, and (post)colonial roots of international refugee regime. Her regional focus is on global developments and those in Africa, especially East Africa.
