Each day, will feature a 2-hour lecture in the morning and another 2-hour lecture in the afternoon, providing ample time to explore fascinating subjects, ask questions, and participate in stimulating discussions. We’ve even added some online options!

What is the difference between a Lecture Series and a Showcase?

Traditional programming in the Lifelong Learning Program follow a 6-week structure with a 2 hour lectures each week. This format provides for a more thorough examination of the subject matter, covering various aspects and complexities. A lecture series is a great way to learn more about something you are interested in or know a little bit about.

The Lifelong Learning Fall Showcase spans over 1 week with various single 2 hour lectures on a variety of topics. This format of learning exposes learners an overview of a broad topic or condensed view on a very specific aspect of a subject. Participating in a single lecture allows learners to get a snapshot of the knowledge of the topic which can spark interest while leaving with practical takeaways. The Lifelong Learning Program strives to provide learners with the opportunity to learn more about the topics presented in single lectures by offering them in the longer traditional 6-week format.
