Lecturing with LLeaP

Are you an experienced lecturer with interest in sharing knowledge about your field of study? Teaching with LLeaP may be right for you.

Our Program

Who?

We work with Carleton and non-Carleton experts with previous university-level teaching experience (some exceptions may apply).

What?

Each session features lecture and workshop series ranging from history, arts, and social sciences, to mathematics and natural sciences. Our delivery formats include online and in-person, both on and off Carleton’s main campus. Click here to learn more about our past offerings.

When?

Our program typically runs six-week sessions in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Each session features lecture and workshop series that run once a week for 2 hours.

Early Spring: ~ March-April Early Fall: ~ Sept-Oct Winter: ~ Feb-March
Late Spring: ~ April-May Late Fall: ~ Nov-Dec

Why?

For the love of learning and teaching. We offer lecturers the opportunity to teach specialized topics of interest in their preferred teaching style to people who truly want to learn. The best part? No assignments or grading.
