Learn for the love of it!
The Lifelong Learning Program at Carleton University (formerly known as the Learning in Retirement Program) is celebrating over 20 years of providing affordable opportunities to learn for personal satisfaction. We host both supported online and in-person events. You can learn more about us, our participants and lecturers by exploring this website (including the About and FAQ pages), and this 2022 article.
Adults of all ages are welcome to participate in a community of lifelong learners who enjoy acquiring knowledge about new topics, discussing issues of common interests, and sharing life-stories. Whatever your educational background or interests, explore our intellectually stimulating non-credit offerings on a wide variety of subjects.
While the Lifelong Learning Program office remains partially closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, our staff are available to answer your questions. Please contact us at lifelonglearning@carleton.ca or call us at 613-520-3699 and leave a message. A staff member will return your call from a dedicated Lifelong Learning Program cell phone.
