Mark your calendars. The 7th annual Linguavision Singing Contest is set to hit the stage the evening of 3 April, 2024. What is Linguavision? It’s a singing contest for Carleton language students; individuals and groups sing in the languages they’re learning (with instruments or with a karaoke track) in front of a live audience in the KM Theatre. Dance moves? Sure. Costumes? Yes please! You can learn more about the contest (and watch videos from previous years) on the event website.
Anyway, this year we are hoping to engage more of you, the students, in the planning process. With this in mind, we are going to have an orientation session next week in the Language Learning Resource Centre (SP 337). This session will be useful both for those of you who want to be part of the planning team and those of you who want to SING!
