James is a Ph.D. student in the Math Lab whose interests include number representation, response compatibility effects (e.g., the spatial-numerical association of response codes, or SNARC effect), number processing, and their relations with math and arithmetic performance. Currently, James’ work is focused on ordinality judgments in adults, factors that affect ordinality judgment performance, and the relations between ordinality judgment task performance and arithmetic.
