Jenna completed her B.A. in Linguistics in 2018 and her PBD in Cognitive Science in 2021. Currently, Jenna is a master’s student in Cognitive Science under the supervision of Dr. Jo-Anne Lefevre. Jenna’s previous research investigated the role of language in children’s number transcoding, more specifically, the transcoding performance of French immersion students when they transcode in English versus French.

- The role of language in mathematical cognition
- Factors affecting children’s number transcoding skills
- How children’s language skills influence their mathematical development and achievement
- Children’s development of early numeracy skills
