Leah spent the summers of 2024 and 2025 in the lab under NSERC undergraduate student research awards, supervised by Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre. Leah completed her honours thesis under Dr. Rebecca Merkley and Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre. Her honours thesis examined quantity recognition in young children, she is especially concerned with fingers as a representation of number.
