Mikaÿla is a 4th-year cognitive science student in the cognition & psychology stream. Her general research interest concerns understanding the fundamental elements that make up Dyslexia & other neurodiverse communities with the ultimate goal of systematically finding ways to remove barriers in adulthood. Mikaÿla’s current involvement in the Neuralign project relates to how working memory is involved in students with reading differences, on which she will be writing her honours thesis.
