On Wednesday, Oct. 27, Algonquin College, Carleton University, La Cité and the University of Ottawa are holding an online symposium with the theme of “Re-thinking the Relevance of Higher Education: Which Models Could Best Respond to the Needs of a 21st Century Society.”
Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) has received 25 tickets for Carleton students to attend the virtual symposium.
If you are interested and available to attend online, please email tls@cunet.carleton.ca your name, student ID and program of study from your cMail account. Students can be undergraduate or graduate, part time or full time. Tickets will be distributed based on a first come/first served basis.
The schedule for the symposium as well as speaker bios are available here. Sessions will address accessibility, employability, social justice, technology and industry observations, with discussion driven by students, researchers, futurists and industry leaders.
