Bill Fox, who served as director of communications to Brian Mulroney, spoke about the former prime minister’s leadership style to students in POLM 5905 (Prime Ministerial Leadership in Canada). Fox emphasized Mulroney’s natural talents, including his charm, political intuition, and work ethic. Some of Mulroney’s traits, such as his high degree of loyalty to those around him, worked both to his benefit and detriment. A former Ottawa bureau chief for the Toronto Star, Fox has also worked as vice president at CN, Bombardier, and Bell Canada Enterprises. He is now executive producer and partner at Wizard Hat Productions.
