The Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) and the Riddell Program in Political Management will host a roundtable discussion on “Parliamentary Development in Uzbekistan and the Canadian Model” on Wednesday, April 17 at 2:30 in the Political Management classroom: Room 2440-R (Mezzanine level), River Building. A delegation of five Uzbekistan parliamentarians, headed by Diloram Tashmukhamedova (pictured), Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, will lead the discussion. All are welcome. The group will also be visiting the Houses of Parliament during their stay in Ottawa.
