Stephen Azzi was interviewed about political leadership on CKNW radio in Vancouver. Professor Azzi, who teaches the Riddell program’s course on prime ministerial leadership, told host Philip Till that successful leaders combined certain inherited traits with learned skills. Great leaders are intelligent, self-confident, and determined. They are able to manage cabinets, caucuses, and parties, and display both strong political intuition and personal integrity.
