Sarah Douglas, MPM/14, has been appointed Senior Director of Government and Stakeholder Relations for the Chamber of Marine Commerce.
Ms. Douglas was most recently Director, Government Affairs for Innovative Medicines Canada (formerly R&D), breaking down complex regulatory, international trade and intellectual property law concerns into easy to understand language to develop advocacy campaigns, as well as managing stakeholder and elected official meetings.
Previously, she has worked in a number of legislative, research and communication roles on Parliament Hill and with federal Members of Parliament.
The chamber of Marine Commerce is a bi-national association that represents more than 130 marine industry stakeholders including major Canadian and American shippers, ship owners, ports, terminals and marine service providers.
