Jacob Gorenkoff, an alumnus of the Political Management Program, has been appointed Director of Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA). Gorenkoff previously worked as Government Relations Coordinator and Policy Analyst for the Canadian Real Estate Association.
In his new role, Gorenkoff is the senior program and content lead for CHRA, the national association for Canada’s social, non-profit, and affordable housing sector. Gorenkoff is working with government, private sector, and non-profit partners to bolster innovation in the housing sector.
Gorenkoff graduated with a master’s degree in political management in 2019. He said that the program “imbues students with the skills and confidence to competently navigate political processes and institutions, whether they are working on the Hill, in public affairs, or another related field.”
