Tammy Alamrieh has been appointed manager of government and public affairs for McDonald’s Canada, a company that employs almost 100,000 Canadians and serves three million people every day in 1,400 restaurants. Alamrieh will be engaged in advocacy with federal, provincial, and municipal governments.
Alamrieh holds a master’s in political management from the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management at Carleton University and a bachelor’s in public relations from Mount Saint Vincent University. After graduating from the Riddell program, she worked for National Public Relations in Ottawa and Argyle Public Relations in Toronto.
Alamrieh valued her time in the Riddell program. “The program is run by an impressive roster of instructors and professors that I consider myself lucky to have met and been mentored by.” She also found that being a member of the Riddell network opened many doors for her.
