Alex Maheu has been appointed vice president of Summa Strategies, one of Canada’s top public affairs firms. Maheu graduated from the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management in 2016. He has worked as a consultant at Summa since 2015.
In the new role, Maheu will take over Summa’s defence and procurement practice, working with C-suite clients to develop their public affairs and advocacy strategies. He will continue to represent clients to decisions makers in Ottawa, acting as a bridge between government and the defence and security industry.
According to Maheu, his political management degree created numerous opportunities for him. “The program opened many doors for me professionally,” he said.
