The Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) announced a national expansion today, hiring government relations experts in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. The new additions include Tessa Seager, an alumna of Carleton University’s Riddell Program in Political Management, appointed practice lead for BC.

Seager holds a law degree from the University of British Columbia and a master of political management (MPM) degree from the Riddell Program. Seager remembers her time at Carleton fondly, describing the MPM as “a prerequisite for those looking to truly understand politics.” After graduating in 2019, she became a principal at McMillan Vantage Policy Group.

CCI is a national organization representing more than 130 state-of-the-art Canadian companies in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and health technologies. The group promotes government policies to encourage a more innovative economy.
