We are thrilled to ring in the New Year by welcoming Jennifer Howard as our newly appointed MPM Program Fellow!

Jennifer brings over two decades of exceptional experience in Canadian politics, spanning both provincial and federal levels. As a former Manitoba MLA and Cabinet minister, she championed groundbreaking legislation including Manitoba’s first accessibility standards and North America’s first paid employment leave for domestic violence victims. Her leadership continued as Executive Director of PSAC, where she supported federal workers through the Phoenix pay crisis, and most recently as Chief of Staff to NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, where she helped secure the Supply and Confidence Agreement that delivered Canada’s Dental Care Program.

Recognized by the Hill Times in 2024 as one of the 100 most influential people in federal politics, Jennifer’s depth of expertise will be invaluable to our MPM community.
