Adam Khimji holds an honours degree in Political Science, and a minor in Psychology from Western University, as well as a Master of Political Management (MPM) from Carleton University. Adam has a passion for technology, communications, business, and politics, and strives to integrate those passions into all his endeavours. He deeply values being an entrepreneur and volunteering his time and insights for causes he cares about.

Adam has worked at the Capital Hill Group (CHG) as a Research and Communication Analyst. His role demanded the melding of political acumen, honed during his MPM studies, with strategic communication tactics. Adam has also worked at Statistics Canada, where he worked on the Disaggregated Data Action Plan (DDAP), and later joining the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), aiding in strategic planning and emergency communications.

Adam currently works at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) in the Investment Attraction Directorate championing Canada’s ambition to be a global leader in the electric vehicle (EV) market. As part of a nationwide initiative, Adam is at the forefront of building an end-to-end battery ecosystem, underpinning Canada’s shift towards electrification. His role is a testament to the MPM program’s focus on strategic political decisions that propel national growth.

When he’s not in the office, Adam enjoys hiking, photography, documentaries, and learning new skills. He also spends his time volunteering for various non-profit charities in the community.
