Alanna Sokic is an experienced government relations professional. She currently manages provincial and municipal government affairs with Scotiabank, where she oversees engagement on a number of files, including housing, consumer protection, and sustainable finance. Alanna has served as the Ontario lead for a technology business council and as the cannabis practice lead for a national public affairs firm. She has worked on complex public affairs campaigns, assisting clients and organizations through challenging and complicated issues at all three levels of government. Alanna has also held leadership positions within Equal Voice — both at the national and chapter levels — and CJPAC’s #ACTION Committee. Alanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University and a Master of Political Management from Carleton University.
