Alex Kohut is the Manager of Research in the Office of the Prime Minister, overseeing public opinion research and advertising campaigns conducted by the Government of Canada. He previously served as Research Coordinator for the Liberal Party of Canada during the 2019 federal election and has worked in a variety of roles on both federal and provincial election campaigns.
“The MPM program provides a unique opportunity for political staff to develop the skills and experience needed to excel in political roles. In an ever-changing industry with fast-paced workplaces and little transference of institutional knowledge from one government to the next, the program is serving an important role as a training ground for professionalized staff.
