Degrees: | MPM 2014 |
Alice is the Director, Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement at CNIB where she oversees the organization’s relationship with the federal government, Government of Ontario, and other provincial governments as needed.
Alice leads efforts in policy analysis for federal and provincial policy, legislation, and regulations. She regularly consults people with lived experience to inform policy statements and positions.
She enjoys working on federal, provincial, and municipal campaigns for candidates in her home riding of Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston.
“The MPM program is a look into how things really operate in Ottawa. Professors and guest speakers are candid about the rigour of a career in public policy. The skills to evaluate legislation, think critically, and prepare thoughtful policy analysis have helped me quickly achieve my goals of being a registered lobbyist. Though the program is federal in focus, I have been able to extrapolate many of the ideas and apply them to a municipal campaign or issue.” – Alice Clark
