Andrew Lockhart is the Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Telesat, one of the world’s largest and most successful global satellite operators. He currently spends the majority of his time working on Telesat Lightspeed, the largest space project in Canada’s history. Prior to joining Telesat he spent over a decade with the Canadian Bankers Association where he led the industry’s federal government relations efforts. He graduated from Queen’s University in 2011 with a Bachelor or Arts (Honours) in Politics and History and was a member of the inaugural MPM cohort.
The MPM program was instrumental in helping me build and develop my network through quality faculty and guest lectures as well as an excellent internship program.
