Connor Burton is a bilingual communications specialist with extensive experience working in Canadian politics and public service. He currently serves as Senior Communications and Issues Advisor and Press Secretary to the Honourable Buckley Belanger, Secretary of State for Rural Development.
Previously, Connor served as Press Secretary and Communications Advisor to the Honourable Gudie Hutchings, former Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA, and has held senior field roles on a number of federal and provincial political campaigns. His career also includes past work experience at the Senate of Canada, StrategyCorp, and Parks Canada.
A proud Acadian, Cape Bretoner, and Nova Scotian, Connor is also a graduate of Queen’s University (MA ‘19) and St. Francis Xavier University (BA ‘18).
