Dylana since graduating the MPM Program, she has worked as principal researcher on the White Paper on the Status of Trans and Gender Diverse People in MP Randall Garrison’s office. The white paper has 29 recommendations to move trans rights forward at the federal level and was tabled in parliament by the Justice Minster in June 2023.
Dylana now works as Director of Policy and Advocacy at The Enchanté Network, Canada’s largest network of 2SLGBTQI+ organizations.
As the first out trans person in the MPM program Dylana is passionate about applying the skills and connections she has gained in MPM to protect and advance trans and 2SLGBTQI+ rights. She is also passionate about social justice issues more broadly and has worked on a number of NDP campaigns at the federal and provincial levels.
The MPM has provided me with invaluable skills and connections that have opened doors in Ottawa and has changed my career trajectory for the better.
