Based in Toronto, Grant is a Stakeholder Relations & Research Coordinator at Metrolinx, an Ontario Government agency responsible for regional transportation planning in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area, and for operating GO Transit, UP Express and PRESTO.

Prior to joining Metrolinx, Grant was a government relations consultant at Counsel Public Affairs, and worked on public affairs files for public, private, and non-profit organizations in a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, energy, health care, Indigenous affairs, labour, legal, pharmaceuticals, post-secondary education, sharing economy, and social services.

His specialties include developing government relations strategies; drafting materials such as briefing notes, presentations, grassroots advocacy tool-kits, and government consultation and pre-budget submissions; planning and coordinating advocacy days at Queen’s Park; stakeholder mapping and engagement; legislative research and monitoring; drafting proposals and RFP/RFQ/RFI responses; and managing lobbyist registry compliance.

Grant is a former member of the Ontario Liberal Party executive, having served as Vice-President, Engagement, and Toronto Region Vice-President, and a former local riding association president.
