Maia Lugar is the Manager, Public Affairs at First Lake Solutions, where she delivers government relations services to clients in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, and the skilled trades.
Before joining First Lake, she worked on research in the field of Indigenous governance and federal-territorial-band council relations. She received her Bachelor’s of Political Studies at Bishop’s University, where she was involved in student politics. She then moved to Ottawa in 2021 to pursue a Masters of Political Management.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Maia has also worked in community outreach at the municipal level, and worked on a variety of election campaigns at various levels of government and across party lines.
