Political Strategist
Degrees: | MPM/12 |
Reudon Eversley, a member of the inaugural class of 2012, is a veteran Barbados-based political strategist who has worked on campaigns across the Caribbean.
Over the past 20 years, Reudon has worked with political parties in his native Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, the Cayman Islands, St Maarten and the British Virgin Islands. At the governmental level, he has also served as communication consultant both in the Office of the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Cayman Islands.
An accomplished journalist who also holds a Master of Journalism degree from Carleton, Reudon is keen on applying the valuable knowledge gained through the MPM to help modernize the practice of politics in the Caribbean and more effectively solve problems through appropriate public policy interventions.
“Despite coming to the MPM program with considerable experience, the year away from the sunny Caribbean in ice-cold Ottawa was well spent, because I left with a more solid grounding in the modern practice of politics than when I came. Having MPM certification has brought me much professional respect.” – Reudon Eversley
