Will currently works as a Community Relations Manager with the External Relations group at FortisBC, BC’s largest energy provider. In this role, he is responsible for leading strategic consultation and engagement with municipalities and stakeholders to advance the clean energy transition and help meet customers energy needs.
Will has been with FortisBC since 2020. He has extensive experience at both the federal and provincial levels of government, where his focus was in communications and public affairs. He also has worked in leadership roles in numerous provincial and federal election campaigns.
The MPM program provided me with an invaluable education and experience. Learning from some of the most accomplished political, advocacy, and communications professionals in Canada was one of the many things I valued from the program. I still carry the lessons learned during my time in the MPM program with me in my career today.
I strongly recommend anyone looking to gain applicable, real world learnings and experience for careers in government, politics, or advocacy to consider the Masters in Political Management Program. Whether it is the quality of professors or courses, the connections made, or the strong and active alumni network from across partisan lines, there is tremendous value in the MPM program.
